The Noël sisters’ hand-made sculptural ceramics are shown in galleries nationwide. Sarah has a BA (Hons) in Ceramics from Bristol. She makes figurative, stylised three-dimensional ceramic sculptures, wall pieces and panels. She is influenced by medieval art and characters from classical mythology  and Celtic folklore. These figures express a solemn spirituality through simple forms. Her more fun pieces are of figures and animals in boats and musicians. Sarah’s sculptures are high earthenware fired with coloured stains and oxides poured on to achieve a matt finish.
