I am an artist and printmaker based in Swansea. I trained at Swansea College of Art, as a biological artist, and specialised in medical art, with a successful career in a prestigious London hospital and medical school. Whilst working and living in London, I also taught at the London School of Printing.

I changed career, and was successfully involved for nearly 40 years in countryside, estate, forestry and woodland management in the South West of England. I took early retirement and relocated to South West France, where for 10 years, I established a successful business in tree surgery, estate and woodland management.

On my return to my home in Wales, my creativity was again released, and I turned to design and printmaking. My prints are predominantly of natural subjects, with hints of symbolism and imagination. My drawings are transferred to Lino blocks, carved and then printed onto a range of specialised papers, collected from many sources. The textures of these papers, compliment the images printed down onto them. I also enjoy the detail and precise style achieved with engraving, and producing drypoint etchings.
I have a studio in Swansea, where I produce my work.
