Sara Holden trained as a Fine Artist in London and works in a range of media, including painting, sculpture and batik. Inspired by coastal places on Gower, UK and abroad, Sara paints in oil, acrylic and watercolour on canvas, board or paper.  Her contemporary paintings depict the changing light through the seasons, evoking mood and ethereal qualities while featuring the sea, birdsand flowers. New work from her overseas travels will be included in her Open Studio as well as many Gower inspired paintings. Sara’s work has previously been exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, in UK galleries and is in many private collections.  A selection of her evocative and colourful paintings will be on display and available to purchase.  Sara will also be demonstrating some of her art techniques, such as Batik and Indigo dying, during her Open Studio event.
