The Noël sisters’ hand-made sculptural ceramics are shown in galleries nationwide. Anna has a BA(Hons) in Ceramics from Bath and an MA in Ceramics from the Royal College of Art. Her delightful three-dimensional animal sculptures reflect her interest in mythology and folklore and reveal elements of mankind’s relationship with the animal kingdom. Anna works spontaneously with a combination of slabs, coils and incised and applied decoration, using either a high earthenware dry finish using slips and oxides, or a combination of oxides and earthenware glazes.
